Robustness

Things can get a bit rough on the building site. It is bad if the components have to suffer from this. With poorly processed LED strips, the LED chips may break off, individual units ("SEU") or even the entire strip may fail. That is why we put great importance on careful processing of our products: Thanks to a thicker, more resistant printed circuit boards ("PCB") and a high quality of workmanship, Radium LED Strips are particularly robust. Above all, our water-protected LED Star Strips are optimally protected against external influences with their full silicone encapsulation.

Durability & Reliability

Surely, you have heard that LEDs have a much longer life than conventional light sources. But just because a product is powered by LED technology does not automatically mean it is long-lasting. Here, too, there are major differences in quality, which we pay special attention to when developing our LED Strips: The use of high-quality materials and good workmanship enables an optimal thermal connection. In combination with a thick PCB and strong solder connections, this has a particularly positive effect on the service life of the LEDs. With a service life of up to 60,000 hours, Radium LED Strips are therefore way ahead of the game in terms of persistence.

To ensure that our products are delivered to the customer free of defects, they are subjected to a 100% functional test and a 24-hour endurance test after manufacture. In the case of assembled goods, another 100% outgoing inspection is carried out at Radium after assembly.

In addition, Radium gives a guarantee of up to 5 years on LED Strips that are operated according to the product and application specifications given by Radium.

Safety

The protection of the electronics also plays an important role in product development. The European market places high demands on electrical products. The ENEC certification of our LED Star Strips shows that our products meet European safety standards after testing by an independent test laboratory. Accordingly, our certified LED Strips are marked with the ENEC logo.

Beyond these standards, however, there are other safety features:

With many electronic devices, for example, reversed polarity – that is, mixing up the negative and positive poles – leads to damage to the product. To prevent such damage from occurring in the first place, our LED Strips have extra reverse polarity protection.
