Safety first in large projects with LED tubes!
This is how professional temperature measurement at the Tc point works.

For electronic components, temperature is the most decisive factor for reliable operation and long service life. Excessive temperatures can cause damage to the components or even lead to premature failure of the electronics. In projects with LED tubes, this influence is often underestimated. This creates a high risk that specified lifetimes are not achieved and the system in itself becomes a problem.
Professional LED lamps and ballasts have a TC point to measure the temperature during regular operation. To make sure that this measurement can be executed correctly and without much effort, Radium goes one step further: We provide our customers with prepared lamps and ballasts for easy temperature measurement. Sensors are attached to both the lamp and the ballast, which can be connected to a measuring device. In this way, a measurement can be made under actual operating conditions. With these measurement results a thermal suitability can be derived very well.
