Step by Step to an individuell lighting experience.
How to select your components.
Step 1
Select an LED Strip. If you decide to use several strips, add their power together.
Example: 15W + 30W + 15W = 60W
Step 2
Select the appropriate driver based on the total power of the LED Strip chosen.
Example: ✗30W ✓60W ✗120W
Step 3
If you want to use more than one LED Strip on one driver, you will need a distributor.
Hint: You can also use the distributor to connect several controllers to one driver if the individual strips should be dimmed differently.
Step 4
Add a controller to dim the LED Strips – via remote control, app or smart home assistant. For white light, use the CONTROLLER ZGB WHITE and for colored light the CONTROLLER ZGB RGBW.
Step 5
For every application we have the right profile set consisting of profile, cover, end caps and brackets including screws.
The profile and cover provide protection for the LEDs. The cover also ensures homogeneous light and less glare.
Make it dimmable!
Lighting control makes your home smart!
With the Zigbee controller, you can control your LED Strips easily via remote control. If you have a suitable Zigbee bridge, controller and remote control can be trained to your smart home system. You can also switch and dim your light via app or voice control and call up your individually saved light scenes.
Which light color is the right one for my project?
For different lighting applications we usually consciously choose certain color temperatures (unit: Kelvin (K)). For example, we use warm, cosy light (e.g. 2700 K) for living rooms and bedrooms, whereas cool, vitalising light (e.g. 4000 K) for workspaces and kitchens.
How do I know how bright an LED Strip is?
ou can recognise the brightness of light sources by their luminous flux (lumen (lm) or, in the case of LED Strips, lumen per metre (lm/m)). The higher the value, the brighter the light. How much light is needed depends on the visual task: For decorative light, for example, 500 lm/m can be used, for general room lighting rather 1500 lm/m.

Radium offers a large selection of aluminium profile sets for LED Strips to individually illuminate any room. Whether simple surface-mounted profiles, corner profiles, floor profiles, drywall profiles or slat profiles for acoustic panels: the simple, modern design makes every lighting solution an eye-catcher.
Profiles ensure protection and durability.
Radium profile sets safely dissipate the heat from the LEDs and protect the strips from dust. This ensures a safe and long-lasting lighting solution. That‘s why we recommend to use the LED Strips in combination with Radium profiles.
The sets are so easy to install.
All LED strips are equipped with a self-adhesive tape and can be glued into the profile this way. The cover and end caps are then fitted. The brackets supplied with the set are screwed on at the desired place. The profile set is then simply clicked into it. Alternatively, a centring groove in the profile enables to drill precisely the holes in order to fix the profile with screws directly without using the brackets, before you glue in the LED Strip.
Hint:
You can cut the profile set easily to an exact fit with a hacksaw. This avoids dark spots if your LED Strip does not fit exactly into the profile. Take care to ensure that your profile is 1 cm longer than your LED Strip, as the connection cable needs a little space in the profile.
How about a pendant light?
Would you like to illuminate your dining table, kitchen island or desk? Then simply add a wire suspension to your selected LED Strip and your profile set and hang up your customized LED Strip system.
