Simply, due to the big variety of types of fluorescent lamps the product portfolio of LED Tubes in all sizes, diameters and light colours cannot be complete, yet.
Special applications such as EX-protection are mostly not covered, even though asking might lead to a success in the end.
At the moment, the LED Tubes are only suitable for general lighting.
Take care about:
Main challenge: operation!
If the ballast is to stay in the luminaire/ circuit, the user must make a difference between conventional and electronic operation. LED Tubes UN are suitable for both modes of operation.
Please, observe for lamps in ECG operation (HF and UN):
- When using LED Tubes HF for ECG operation the ECG must remain in the circuit.
- Flawless operation is secured for ECGs proven and mentioned in the compatibiliy list only.
Operation on non-compatible ECG poses a significant safety risk. - If the desired ECG is missing from the list, it can be qualified accordingly using suitable measurements.
- Dimming is currently only possible for this lamps generation with LED T5 and T8 NEO using an appropriate driver.
Please, observe for lamps in CCG operation (EM and UN):
- Use starter provided.
- In tandem circuit only RL-T8 18 S 7,3W/840/G13 can be employed.
Should the lamp be operated at mains voltage (230V AC) directly, this will be a modification of the luminaire (conversion), where special rules and directives apply.
Only applicalble for tube types universal (UN) and for conventional operation (EM)!
LED Tubes AC are generally intended for operation on 230V only - without an external ballast or driver.
Work reiliably and safely: LED Neo Tubes for external drivers
A simple conversion to LED T5 and T8 NEO - i.e. replacing the ballasts with suitable LED drivers and using Neo Tubes - makes your lighting system fit for the future. Compatibility checks are no longer necessary!
