Not unknown to us is this new face: Nathan has already done his apprenticeship as mechatronics engineer at Radium from 2015 to 2019. Now he has decided to rejoin the Radium team and has been working in technical sales support since December 1st 2022. We are happy to introduce him today via a short interview, wish him a good start and success!

Nathan, would you tell us something about yourself?

My name is Nathan Bergen, I am 23 years old and come from Marienheide. I did my apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer here at Radium a few years ago and subsequently have gained a few years of work experience.

Where and in which profession did you work after your apprenticeship at Radium?

After my apprenticeship, I worked as a mechatronics technician and later as an instructor at GEPE-Technik GmbH. There, in addition to commissioning systems, I also supervised projects such as the trade fair.

Did you do any further training after your apprenticeship?

Yes, I did my industrial master's degree, specializing in mechatronics.

What brought you back to Radium?

I would like to take on new challenges. The fact that Radium is seeking reinforcement was a happy coincidence for me, since I already know the company and its divisions thanks to my apprenticeship.

What are your activities at Radium?

I will mainly work in technical sales support for the product areas LED Strips and LED Tubes, and I will support our sales department as well as customers with technical concerns. In the area of LED Strips, the development and support of lighting projects are main tasks on the agenda.
   

What are you looking forward to in your new job with us?

I'm looking forward to helping shape exciting lighting projects and, above all, to continuing to grow with the LED Strips division.
