Irradiation with UV-C light is now an established method of disinfection. Our RaLUX® UV-C Stand uses it for air disinfection: Aerosols are sucked in and purified inside the device by means of a UV-C lamp. The purified air is then ejected back into the room.

The RaLUX® UV-C stand has been checked thoroughly by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). An effectiveness test was carried out in accordance with DIN 62471, which officially confirms the effectiveness of the stand unit.

The measurement has proven that the germ load of the purified air is reduced by >99.999 % for SARS-CoV-2 by the UV radiation inside the unit!

The air steriliser also shows a high effectiveness of up to >99.9% for moulds, bacteria and yeasts. You can find all the details in the measurement protocol.
