Magic with light: Dimming lighting creates a special atmosphere of light. There is a variety of dimming methods – but you do need expertise to select the technically suitable system. A simple and at the same time very affordable solution for 24V modules are the Radium LED phasecut drivers.

There are two dimming variants:

Variant 1:
Use the phasecut driver in combination with a conventional leading-edge or trailing-edge phase dimmer, such as a rotary dimmer, you can dim your light directly via the supply voltage without any additional wiring.

Variant 2:
Make it simple: connect your conventional light switch – provided it is a normally open switch – to the phasecut driver and dim your lights by long pressing the switch via the Touch&DIM interface.

In spite of the low price, the focus here is on the highest possible comfort for the eyes: Dimming is completely flicker-free, according to IEEE 1789 standard, with a PWM frequency of at least 3600 Hz.

The dimming range of a Radium phasecut driver reaches from 0 to 100% and offers a very wide brightness spectrum. In addition, overload protection, overtemperature protection, overvoltage protection and short-circuit resistance of the driver ensure a high level of safety during use.
