Which dimmers work with my LED lamp?
Here is how you will find out!
Dimmable LED lamps are often used to adjust the brightness of the light to different situations in everyday life. In the morning in the kitchen it may be a little brighter, in the evening on the sofa then cozy with rather dim light.
When installing the lighting, however, care must be taken to ensure that lamps and dimmers are compatible, otherwise the consequence may be that
- the lighting system does not work,
- the light flickers,
- the light stays too bright,
- humming noises can be heard or,
- in the worst case, the products are permanently damaged.
Only if dimmer and LED lamp work well together, the many electronic components of lamp and dimmer can function together and a properly dimmable lighting system is created.
To check this, we provide so-called dimmer lists for our dimmable LED lamp types. In these lists, common dimmers are listed with corresponding notes on compatibility. The compatibility check is performed at Radium under standardized conditions and helps you to find the right dimmer for your lamps.
Similarly, for our low-voltage lamps, there are corresponding "transformer lists" that give you information about the compatibility of LV lamps and transformers.
Download the required dimmer or transformer list in the download area under "Compatibility lists" or open it via the corresponding product in the web catalog.
