Double the length of the light line, without any dark patches?
Power feed on both sides makes that possible.

Anyone who has ever dealt with LED strips certainly knows that each LED strip has an individual maximum operable length. In other words: with one single current feed-in, the LED strip can be operated at this specified length as a maximum. Otherwise, the strip will become darker and darker towards the other end due to the decrease in luminous flux and the homogeneous light line will no longer shine with uniform brightness.
Some of our LED Strips already have a very long maximum operable length. With 18 metres, for example, our LED Star Strip 400 is quite impressive. Depending on the lighting project, however, even more may be needed. And there is a trick for exactly that:
If you want to operate an LED Strip on a longer section without having to connect each section to a new driver, the simple solution is to feed power to both sides or in the middle alternatively.
If you double the length of the light line corresponding to the maximum operable length, simply feed the LED Strip from both sides or, depending on the application, also from the middle*. So when using the LED Star Strip 400, you can operate a continuous light line of 36 metres. Further, it is important to observe the length and cross-section of the supply line, as a voltage drop can also occur in the supply line, which in turn has a negative effect on the maximum operable length. If required, you can also have your LED Strip lighting individually configured according to your wishes. Take a look at our LED Strip configurator. For double-sided power supply, simply leave us a short note in your enquiry.
