Radium new Partner at LEDOTRON
Welcome to the new world of lighting comfort
Since April this year, the oldest active German lamp manufacturer is a partner of the LEDOTRON alliance. LEDOTRON offers the user via specialised trade comfortable and digital dimming according to technical standards. With this partnership, Radium joins in to a future technology and offers the electro-wholesalers a professional application simple to install.
By European Ecodesign Directive, traditional incandescent lamps have been banned from the market. In their place, energy saving lamps have come up, which are equipped with an integral ballast quite often. However, these new lamps may cause problems when dimmed, they can show awkward effects such as flickering or an unstable dimming process. Additionally, the requirements of the law according to harmonics in the mains current supply as well as radio interference suppression are not observed quite frequently. Improper combinations of gear may even lead to lamp defects.
Dimmers can easily be replaced by LEDOTRON control gear, which sends the digital control informationen via mains power supply to the connected Radium LEDOTRON lamps. The existing wiring will be used unchanged. The Radium LEDOTRON light sources are able to receive this information with their integral electronics (ballasts), process it and put it to function.
