The day has come: the End for compact fluorescent lamps.
As of tomorrow, the ban on compact fluorescent lamps will be in force in the EU.
The RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU ensures that no more compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) may be put into circulation within the European Union from February 25, 2023. In concrete terms, this means that the lamps may neither be manufactured in the EU nor imported into the EU in the future. However, remaining stocks may still be sold.
The deadline is now imminent. Secure the last lamps now!
