Today we introduce our new colleague Hansjörg Fabry: On 02.01.2023 Hajo joined the Radium team and since then he supports our sales department as a project manager in the field for the D-A-CH region. We are very happy to introduce him today, wish him a good start and a lot of fun in his new job!

Hajo, please tell us a few "key data" about yourself.

My name is Hansjörg Fabry, I am 54 years young and live in Swisttal near Bonn. I am married, have two sons and a dog and enjoy playing golf. Apart from that, I am a soccer fan and volunteer in a sports club.

What has your professional career been like? What have you learned?

I am a trained electrician and worked as an aircraft electrician for the German Armed Forces. I also completed a commercial apprenticeship as an insurance salesman. Later, I ended up in the lighting industry.

You come from the lighting industry. What did you do there professionally?

I've been working in the field in the electrical sector for 25 years – first in wholesale, then in industry. I was also involved in lighting when I was a wholesaler. I have been in the lighting industry in particular for 12 years now.

Have you dealt with LED strips in the past?

Yes, I have managed many projects with strips, both for the equipment of public buildings and residential buildings. This included everything from basic lighting to decorative accent lighting.

What are your future activities at Radium?

In the future, I will be responsible for the project business in the D-A-CH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The focus will be on LED strip projects, but I will also be the contact person for other projects.

What are you particularly looking forward to in your new job?

The challenge of continuing to build up the project business here together with my colleagues.

What was the first thing that was "drummed into you" at Radium?
