On January, 29th, over a 100 years ago, the company Radium has been founded in Wipperfürth on the grounds of an old woollen mill. For over one hundred years lamps are produced by the oldest still active German lamp manufacturer for the whole world market. The factory began with carbon fibre lamps more rather a work shop. Today, on highly industrialised production lines Radium manufacturers most modern incandescent and discharge lamps as well as high-tech infrared and UV products. Radium covers with its products almost an every application situation for illuminants and also offers comprehensive know-how for special designs.
